How To Make Candied Pecans

My recipe for how to make candied pecans is quick and easy in 5-minutes, right off of the stove-top! Candied Pecans are found on some of the most delicious dishes from salads to desserts. In this post, I’m breaking down how to make them in 4 easy steps and what you can use them for.

How To Make Candied Pecans

I like to be prepared in the kitchen so I prep my steps before I begin. The first step is to gather a plate or baking tray, line your choice with parchment paper and set it aside. If you don’t have parchment paper, you can try wax paper but do not use a paper towel because they will stick to it.

Set your stove-top to medium heat and using a skillet, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Stir and then add water and cook for 2-minutes until the sugar dissolves. You’ll want to have a bubbling mixture! Once it’s bubbling, add in 1 cup of pecans and stir to evenly coat the batch. Cook this for another 2-3 minutes. Remove your pecans from the skillet and spread them evenly onto your parchment paper.

Before you dive into your pecans, make sure that they’ve cooled completely.
