Mango Lime Kombucha Margarita

With the first signs of spring popping up, what better time to make a Mango Lime Kombucha Margarita than now? I’m shaking up your traditional margarita with my homemade kombucha recipe. It has all of your favourite parts of a classic margarita with a healthy stir.

This margarita is fizzy, sweet, sour and salty with a probiotic boost. Keep the tequila for a kick or drink it non-alcoholic with tacos, nachos or fajitas! Heck, let’s be honest, this drink goes with everything. Last year, I showed you How To Make Your Own Kombucha – No Pre Scoby and that’s exactly what you’ll be using unless you’d like to use your own, that works too! Kombucha is essentially a fermented tea. It’s rich in probiotics, antioxidants and can kill harmful bacteria in the gut. I wouldn’t recommend drinking a lot of Kombucha in one day but a few glasses of this recipe will be just fine!

My Mango Lime Kombucha Margarita includes freshly cut mangos. We’ve been seeing them in the grocery stores more around this time of the year so you’ll definitely be able to pick some up. Frozen mangos will work as well but I enjoy using fresh ingredients whenever I can.
