Can This Recipe be Gluten-Free?

Yes, this recipe can be gluten-free. Swap the pasta and panko for gluten-free products. The Best Vegan Cheese Sauce is naturally gluten-free.

What If I Don’t Have Panko?

Panko is a japanese style breadcrumb. I love it because it’s light and flakey. If you don’t have panko or can’t find it use regular breadcrumbs instead. If you don’t have breadcrumbs try crushed crackers or flaked cereal. Just watch that they don’t burn. If you don’t want to use any topping that’s no problem. You can bake the pasta without it or skip the baking all together. Simply mix up the sauce and broccoli and enjoy.
