Decorating a medley of toasts is not just an internet sensation, it’s delicious! It’s nearly impossible to scroll through your foodie based Pinterest and Instagram feeds without seeing a beautifully topped sweet or savoury toast. The phenomenon began with the craze of the avocado toast and quickly blended together the best parts of a smoothie bowl!
This is your chance to get creative. Plan your toast ahead so you can purchase the right amount of ingredients. Fruits like berries, figs, bananas work very well and play around with yogurt, peanut butter, jams and more for the base. Planning ahead also ensures that you won’t be left with any food waste from items that have gone bad. In the case that your berries are about to overripen or turn bad, I toss them into my at-home Ninja Air Fryer to give them an added crunch and a longer shelf-life.
