To make Mac-n-Cheese Powder:
- Mix together all dry ingredients in a small bowl. Store in an airtight container until needed.
To make Vegan Mac-N-Cheese:
- Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain pasta in a colander or using the lid. If using the colander return to pot.
- Add 2 tbsp vegan butter to the warm pasta and stir. Pour in 1 ½ cups of plant milk to the pasta and 1/3 of a cup of homemade vegan mac-n-cheese powder.
- Turn heat onto medium high heat. Stir together the sauce and pasta while it thickens (about 3-5 mins).
- Stir well to combine. Add 1 tbsp of lemon juice and more salt to taste.
