How To Make Vegan Macaroni And Cheese Powder

This vegan Mac and Cheese Powder is quick & easy, healthy & delicious. Better than store bought!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of nutritional yeast
  • ½ cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ tbsp coconut sugar
  • 2 1/2  tsp paprika
  • 2 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of onion powder
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder

Vegan Mac-n-Cheese:

  • 2 cups of uncooked macaroni
  • 2 tbsp of vegan butter
  • 1 ½ cups of Plant Milk
  • 1/3 cup of mac-n- cheese powder
  • 1 tbsp of lemon juice.

Instructions

To make Mac-n-Cheese Powder:

  1. Mix together all dry ingredients in a small bowl.  Store in an airtight container until needed.

To make Vegan Mac-N-Cheese:

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions.  Drain pasta in a colander or using the lid. If using the colander return to pot.
  2. Add 2 tbsp vegan butter to the warm pasta and stir. Pour in 1 ½ cups of plant  milk to the pasta  and 1/3 of a cup of homemade vegan mac-n-cheese powder.
  3. Turn heat onto medium high heat. Stir together the sauce and pasta while it thickens (about 3-5 mins). 
  4. Stir well to combine. Add 1 tbsp of lemon juice and more salt to taste.

Notes

Store Vegan Mac & Cheese Powder in a sealed air tight container for up to 6 months.
