Surprise your senses with a fresh glass of Chamomile Lavender Ginger Ale. Calming scent of camomile and lavender dance with the spicy, sweet, zing of ginger.
2 cups of water
1/2 cup of organic sugar
3 tbsp of fresh lemon or lime juice
1 liter of chilled club soda or sparkling water
Candied ginger to garnish
Strain mixture through a sieve into a bowl, pressing on tea and ginger then discarding.
Return the liquid to saucepan over medium heat and add sugar and stir until sugar has dissolved.
Chill syrup in a covered jar until cold.
To assemble the drinks, mix ginger syrup with soda water and lemon juice. Start with 4 tbsp of syrup and 1 tsp of lemon juice with ¾ cup of soda, then adjust to taste.
1 ½ cups of syrup is enough for 4-6 drinks.
