How To Make Savory Baked Tofu

This healthy, high protein tofu will become a staple in your home. It is crispy on the outside and soft and savoury on the inside. Enjoy on rice or noodle bowls, on it’s own as a main or in wraps, tacos, stir fry’s or nachos. The possibilities are endless!

Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu
  • 2 tbsp light oil or water
  • 4 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 2 tbsp soya sauce or tamari (gluten-free)
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the tofu into small bite sized cubes about 1/2 inch wide.
  3. In a mixing bowl whisk together oil (or water), nutritional yeast, soya sauce, garlic powder and paprika. 
  4. Add tofu and gently stir until evenly coated.
  5. Spread the tofu evenly on the baking sheet. Bake for 25-30mins, stirring halfway.
  6. Enjoy warm or store leftovers in a sealed container for up to 5 days.
